Arvy James Flanigan, 23, fled in a vehicle with his wife and an associate prior to execution of the warrant and was stopped by Corinth police after a short pursuit.
During the pursuit Flanigan was observed tossing something out the driver’s window that was later recovered and identified as methamphetamine, according to the sheriff’s office.
Officers recovered 60 grams of methamphetamine, $1,000 in currency and six firearms.
Flanigan was arrested and charged with manufacture or delivery of more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, a first-degree felony punishable by life in prison or a term of 5 to 99 years, and a fine up to $10,000.
